There were several data plans -- I had the one with unlimited bandwidth and unlimited SMS. There might be cheaper options now, but I'm not missing it enough to justify the expense. It's not that bad being a geek without a geek phone, actually. Granted, I wish I had access to a lot of what the iPhone has to offer. It would make some things a LOT easier. On the other hand, it's one fewer device to maintain, one fewer thing to have giving me excuses to not do something else. It's better to spend my time on other things than tooling around on my phone, which I certainly did back when I could tweet/browse/play games/etc.</p> It might be better now than it was.
